Description

Money is one of the most common sources of stress, anxiety, and inner conflict in modern life. While we may find moments of calm on the meditation cushion, many of us feel a tightening in the chest the moment we think about bills, spending, savings, debt or investments. We often carry inherited, conscious or unconscious beliefs about money - that it's a taboo topic, "unspiritual" or simply too uncomfortable to contemplate.

In this weekend retreat, we will step away from dogma and ritual to look clearly and compassionately at our financial lives. Drawing on core insights from mindfulness and traditional teachings on human suffering - including the fundamental patterns of grasping, aversion and delusion - we'll explore the hidden psychological and emotional layers that shape our relationship with money.

By practising bringing a non-judgemental awareness to our financial patterns, we can begin to transform money from a constant source of underlying tension into a crucible for cultivating insight, self-worth and personal growth.
