During this workshop we'll investigate the deep anatomical and energetic connection between the pelvic floor and the diaphragm through somatic movement, anatomical awareness and gentle breathwork.
Suitable for all who have an interest in deepening their yoga practice, including men and women, with or without a clear sense of their pelvic floor.
Through a series of postures, movements and visualisation practices, you will develop a deeper awareness and understanding of how the diaphragm and pelvic floor can work together to support breath and posture. This work will help you release tension, balance your nervous system and build subtle, supportive strength in your pelvic floor.
We will also explore the energetic importance of the pelvic floor as the location of mulabandha/hui yin and how to tune into the subtle feelings here. This will give your system stability and groundedness, and encourage energy flow into the central channel.
